1- You definitely worked it so it was not cheesy or unauthentic. I particularly like this: On some level, Zach wanted to hold on to his anger, punish Chris a while longer. Now, though, he understood, somewhat. That’s what Chris expected. Whatever relationships Chris had in the past had left an impression and Zach had to factor that in. It’s not as though he didn’t have his own self-preservation techniques, even if he didn’t usually aim them at Chris. THAT was perfect to me! The fact that Zach's been betrayed, but he loves Chris so much that he recognized Chris has been betrayed before and this is Chris freaking out, not him trying to hurt Zach... that's perfect. Because if he's willing to reach that level of awareness about Chris and their relationship, and push aside his own pain and anger to do that, then this relationship can work. There's a level of devotion there that makes "them" possible. You know what I mean?
2- KC is a major music obsession of mine lately! So much so that I've been imagining Pinto fic to nearly all her songs. I cannot get over "Sober" for the life of me, and I'm REALLY toying with writing a Karaoke!fic where Chris drunkenly sings "I Don't Hook Up" (totally at Zach) because COME ON NOW! That'd just be ironically golden! XD

THAT was perfect to me!
