So apparently I am a million months late, but I just saw this on hc_bingo, so I blame...not myself.
I loooved this. Most of all I loved that Ryan and Jon weren't there, that not everything was fixed and lovely by the end of the fic. It's so easy to do that, and it's awesome that you didn't.
I loved that Mikey had a crush on Pete, and that Gerard flails at it and wants to stab him with a paintbrush, and that the rest of the guys try to tell Pete he has a Patrick, he doesn't need a Mikey. PROTECTIVE MCR FOR THE WIN <3333
I winced for a moment opening the link, because it started with something like Gabe not being like the other owners, and I was waiting for a bad!Gabe. So I'm really happy that there was no evil!Gabe, just a Gabe that's faily with money, and has his crew trying to help him. And that he sent people to find his slaves because he wanted them back and safe. And that he gave Ryan paper, and Brendon the chance to do music. Which, speaking of, Nate and Spencer drumming together was lovely.
Tom! Tom saving Brendon, and still getting along with William!!! And Brendon feeling guilty for not asking for him to take Spencer, but what if he was dragging Spencer into something worse?
Going back to Pete for a moment, I love him being a seamstress, and wanting to kick people's asses for implying that's what he is. And Patrick just rolling his eyes the whole time, because for fucksakes Pete.
I also love Bob being all 'I'm like Gee, I'm talking to myself' and not commenting when Spencer's soaking wet because he's cool like that, because he's Bob.
So this hasn't been the most constructive of comments, but hopefully it got my glee across well enough. Because this was awwwwwesome.
