So! I'm not fired, even a little bit. In case I never said that. Today, because I'm such a nice fucking person, I went to help set up for the graduate pinning ceremony even though I'm not going to be paid for it. (Like I said. Nice Person). Then my car died because I'm super smart and left my lights on. And my trunk open with the lights on. And my stereo on to blast "Helena" on repeat and super loud just because no one could tell me not to since I'm doing things for them for free. Then I came home and slept all day because I may have caught the death again. So it's been a werid saturday.

So here. Watch some things because they make me happy:

This makes me want to dance. Cobra always makes me want to dance. WHAT IS WITH THE SUDDEN NANANA Obsession, bands? Can we get some Oohs? Maybe a few Ahhs? How about a few lalalas?

Also, I wish Victoria got to sing more instead of always picking up random girls to show up in their songs (like Leighton, even though I adore Leighton). But I have a giant girl crush on Vicky-T so I just want her to do more everything, always.

I like the contrast of BIG then calm then BIG again. It's interesting. I wasn't sure how I was going to like Nate's voice with Brendon's. (Nate as in Nate Ruess. He's the lead singer for fun.). I'm actually kind of into it, though. I just has this fun (ha, pun) little feel to it. There's something about Nate's part that reminds me of a Decemberists song, but I don't know which one. And I'm a little in LOVE with the lyrics. They're interesting, even though they're sort of simple in places. Somehow it makes me melancholy and hopeful, by turns; it's an interesting feeling. It feels a little like the big climax in a movie. I don't know. I just like the song (and it's Panic, so no one is shocked lol)

Oh PANIC. Be more campy than anyon imagined! I love it. Another "let's see how ridiculous we can get" video where Shane Drake let's the crazy take over.

Thisis where I gush. Cut because I'm such a nice person )

Okay, back to research.

Let's talk about the fact that Spencer Smith should stick to drumming and not look for a career in Hollywood. Also, Brendon's receding hairline, which is oddly adorable. This kid. He defies logic.

And the not so thinly veiled references to the "Divorce."

Oh Panic. Never change. Keep the ridiculous theatrics going.

Also, "Let's Kill Tonight" is already becoming one of my favorite songs. CANNOT WAIT FOR THE FUCKING ALBUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Title: In The Back of Your Head
Fandom: Bandom, specifically Panic (appearances/mentions of members of TAI, MCR, FOB, Cobra, The Cab, Travie and TYV)
Pairing: Gen (but intended pre-Brendon/Spencer/Bob)
[livejournal.com profile] hc_bingo prompt: Cages
Rating: Hard R
Warnings: Slavery, physical violence, emotional and physical abuse, mentions of sex slavery (non-explicit), forced nudity, language
Summary: Spencer didn't actually look at anyone who came to browse, didn't care, never did. It was all the same, even if the faces changed. Not all places were like Saporta's, the vast majority were a direct opposite but they all looked like perfectly respectable people....if respectable meant in favor of owning people and forcing them to get their hands dirty so you don't have to.
Word Count: 14,648
Disclaimer: I know nothing; I own nothing. This never happened, thank God.

If you're thinking "WTF, Chrissy, what happened to the Top Four," it's a simple answer:
Today there's a SURPRISE DOUBLE ELIMINATION! [echoed whispers *double elimination, double elimination*] Due to a tie, we're going to be fair and axe them both. I was going to be all arbitrary and DECIDE who to eliminate...or flip a coin...or make someone play rock paper scissors with me or do eenie meanie miney mo or something. But no. Instead, we'll just lose both.

The eliminated, because I went overboard and decided not cutting was rude to people's f-lists )

Decisions, decisions.

Title: Sh-sh-shakin'
Fandom: Bandom (Panic! at the Disco)
Pairing: Brendon/Spencer
[livejournal.com profile] hc_bingo prompt: electrocution
Rating: PG13
Warnings: Other than mild electrocution and boy stupidity, it's pretty safe.
Summary: Brendon installs a fence and it backfires.
Word Count: 1430
Disclaimer: I deal in lies.
AN: Finally finished one of the prompts for [livejournal.com profile] hc_bingo (full card here...potentially triggery). Still not posting bandom in bandom comms, I don't know why. Maybe eventually I'll write something that isn't Brendon/Spencer...that possibility isn't seeming too likely. Title from Rooney's "Shakin'" because I suck at titles and I've never had issues being cliche. No beta, feel free to poke at my errors or offer to beta in the future. ;)

Your asking for trouble. We're going to get sued. )

Title: Appropriate Places
Fandom: Bandom (Panic! at the Disco, The Young Veins, and a little The Like)
Pairing: Brendon/Spencer (Jon/Cassie, Ryan/Z)
Rating: PG
Summary: Jon's getting married; Brendon and Spencer are maybe, possibly, sort of invited.
Warnings: Absolutely none
Word Count: ~2000
Disclaimer: I deal in lies.
AN: Title does not imply what you think it implies (minds out of the gutter!) For wedding in my random prompts from a table challenge with [livejournal.com profile] xscribblings. This is still part of my "i'm writing bandom and not posting it outside my journal" complex...I'll get over that for [livejournal.com profile] hc_bingo, I guess. I don't know if I like this, but I don't know what to do about it. The only thing I KNOW I really dislike is the lack of Jon Walker (who I love so dearly) in exchange for so much Ryan Ross (which...I usually don't.) Whatever. I think this is my way of dealing with the split...skip ahead about six years and fix it all in subtext.

Chicago was different in the summer... )

Working Title: Partial Pretense (aka Baby's First Bandom Fic)
Fandom: Bandom - Panic! at the Disco
Pairing: Brendon Urie/Spencer Smith
Rating: PG
Summary: Brendon is rambly, Spencer never learned to resist, and Haley's too considerate anyway.
Word Count: < 1,000
Disclaimer: I know nothing. I own nothing. Etc. Etc. So forth.
AN: Oh. My. God. I WROTE BANDOM. I WROTE PANIC. *hands* WHAT IS MY LIFE!!!!! This is, truly and honestly, [livejournal.com profile] b_dsaint's fault. I asked for prompts, she said one of the girlfriends should be a beard for a Panic pairing. This happened and I didn't even read over it after I wrote it, just decided to post it. This may grow at a later date because...I kinda like it. It will probably never see the light of day anywhere but here....but I don't care. It's an experiment in if I can write these boys, really. And I wanted it somewhere that wasn't comments. So...here it is. If I ever actually make it a real fic, it will get a clever (read: cheesy) title. Until then....this is it.

We should buy her presents. Lots of presents. Pretty, shiny, sparkly things. )
