MCR in DC!!!

OMG YOU GUYS. My Chemical Romance last night!!!! I'm STILL INCOHERNET WITH GLEE!!!!!!!

So yesterday I drove in DC by myself without getting lost and/or dying (yay for personal growth!). I scored a broken meter beside some broken window glass (these may or may not be related, but who am I to say?). I ran into [livejournal.com profile] b_dsaint (thanks to the totally awesome/obvious hat) and tagged along to hang out up in the front with her and the other bandom kids (who are all fucking FANTASTIC). I wish I could have stuck around after the show to try to get shit signed, but I had to drive home and I'm totally dragging today as it is. If I would have been any later, I wouldn't have slept.

And now's where I'd love to give you a coherent concert review but 1. I suck at those (see my TYV rant and Travie ramble for examples of just how bad I am), 2. I'm too fucking exhausted right now, and 3. I just don't want to type that much. So I'll let someone who remembers what happens at shows a day later tell you all about it.

But I LOVED IT and I'm spastic enough to ride this high all the way until I see Panic in a couple weeks.

Here's the super abridged version of the show:
Architects and Thursday opened...I'm a little in lvoe with both bands, right now. Especially Architects but I totally see why Thursday is AWESOME. I'm a fan.

There's this little balcony thing over by the stage at 9:30 and at one point, Mikey, Mike, and Frank were up there (even though Frank was mostly hidden behind Mike).

Mikeyway, be hotter. Seriously. It can't be possible. IDEK WTF Frank was wearing, but I was highly amused by it. Ray's even more impressive live...which I wasn't entirely sure was possible since his playing is basically the shit anyway. I SERIOUSLY like the way Gerard moves. This isn't a surprise, I just wanted to put that out there.

They played "Vampire Money," "Summertime," and "I'm Not Okay"... which would have honestly been enough for me to be all *flail* over. We were in the balcony, which I'd planned on doing all along because I'd be that person that would have heat stroke and pass out in the pit and cause a scene (and we all know how much I love scenes, just not in this context). It was a pretty kick ass view. I've never really seen a pit from ABOVE it...it's interesting. The view rocked. My favorite part was probably "Cancer" though because Gerard being backlit like that is a fucking amazing visual!! I wish I'd taken my camera (which is MIA again. Seriously, I'll never again have good show pics unless I steal them). Every time Frank and Gerard stood beside each other facing Mike, I about lost my shit (I may have a soft spot for Pedicone that I hadn't realized).

I want to say more about it...but it's all a jumble of dkfjiodfujriofjekdfjvigjfszkfndskjfcv in my head right now. I think I have post-show blackouts or something.

Miz put the set-list on my phone and I promised I'd post it. I meant to earlier, but I LITERALLY just got home from Placement/Work.

Most incoherent ramble ever. Seriously, track down someone else who went if you want to ACTUALLY know how it was.
