I read both in one go, so you get a mixed comment here. This was wonderful! The angst just about did me in and I loved it! And then there were Chris' inner thoughts, the way he took to heart what Zach said, how their falling out wasn't just his fault and Zach's as well; the way they fell together again and how scared and delighted at the same time Chris was when Zach came over--that scene on the sofa broke my heart, I think--how they handled the press and how protective of Zach Chris was, it was all so perfect because it wasn't perfect. And I really liked the way how it took the reader a while to figure out what was going on between Chris and Zach, how only little snippets surfaced throughout the story, not one whole explanation somewhere.
