What did you do in 2010 that you'd never done before?
Started the MSW program.
Drove throughfucking Pennsylvania with no idea how to get where I was going.
Helped organize and run a Foster/Adopt PRIDE conference.
Was a Maid of Honor
Got a tattoo on my wrist (had one tat on my back, but that was the first one on my arm)
Attended a Dia de los Muertos party
Learned the merengue and salsa.
IDK. None of that really sounds like much.
Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I don't actually make resolutions because I don't think I'll actually keep them. I AM going to lose 50 lbs (at least) this year, but there is a lot more inspiration for that than a new year starting.
Did anyone close to you give birth?
Eh. My brother's wife just had their second baby last week. But I'm not very close to him (anymore) or her. My old roommate also just announced that she's five weeks pregnant.
Did anyone close to you die?
My 2nd (or 3rd?) cousin died, but I didn't actually know him.
What countries did you visit?
Other than here...none.
Describe your birthday
I'm pretty sure I just sat at home drinking SoCo and Coke and watching the Twilight Zone on SyFy, but I don't actually remember. That's just what I usually do.
What would you like to have in 2011 that you lacked in 2010?
A full-time job and a boy. (Notice how I don't even necessarily want a "boyfriend," just a boy to play with lol)
What date from 2010 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
Since I can't think of one off the top of my head, I guess none. But I'm shit at dates so...
What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Surviving my first semester of grad school (Straight A's, baby!)
What was your biggest failure?
I don't actually know. Dating? Does that count?
Did you suffer illness or injury?
I got an ear infection the day after Christmas. I had zombie mutant death plague back in September. I got food poisoning in August. I've done something to my wrist; I don't know what, but every few weeks it starts acting up and I have to wear a brace around. :(
Did you have to go to hospital?
No, thank God!
Whose behavior merited celebration?
Of course,chellealistic for having an adult life, complete with husband and full-time job with benefits (she's going to adopt me, I need the medical coverage haha) and pikasafire with her degrees and her job and her general unfailing awesomeness! Also my BFF, Katie, for being the most laid back bride ever and my coworker for FINALLY realizing she didn't need a man, especially if he was going to treat her like shit. You go, Glen Coco ladies, you go.
Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
can I say Lady Gaga? Her every move depresses or appalls me. Also, Erin, because she's such a socially awkward annoyance that I wonder how she's survived to be an adult. And my girl Jenn's mom, who is just basically a self-centered heinous bitch (to her children, she's pleasant to company).
What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Um. The new MCR album, seeing Rooney and The Young Veins, the fact that Panic! have announced a "timeline" for a single/album, starting grad school and a lot of other nonsense (no seriously, I get extremely excited when I see zebra print shoes).
Which song[s] will always remind you of 2010?
"Cape Town" by The Young Veins and "Na Na Na" by My Chemical Romance
Compared to this time last year, are you:
i. happier or sadder? Marginally happier, I suppose. I'm in school and working so those are both better than last January.
ii. thinner or fatter? I'd imagine fatter, but I'm not 100% sure. I'm probably about the same.
iii. richer or poorer? Richer, if you mean what's in my bank account. Poorer, if you look at the amount of college debt I have.
What do you wish you'd done more of?
Worked more and met more people.
What do you wish you'd done less of?
Nothing (no, I mean that I wish I'd done less of "nothing" and actually gone out and done...THINGS. Any things.)
Did you fall in love in 2010?
Not with a real person I know IRL. (If you want to count the MCR boys, though, feel free)
What was your favorite TV program?
Hmmm...Vampire Diaries, Supernatural, How I Met You Mother, Big Bang Theory, and Shit My Dad Says
Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
Yes. Certain people in my classes. I don't exactly "hate" them, but I'm not exactly "fond" of them, either.

A GPS! A Job! A's in my classes!
What did you want and not get?
Less Palin in the media. A full-time job.
Favorite film of this year?
Easy A and Inception
How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2010?
Uh...My nails are funky, my hair is choppy with a strange highlight pattern, I wear a lot of sweaters and t-shirts and chucks. So...I don't know that that is a concept. Except with my make-up; my concept there is always "More is always more" (that's not a typo, I didn't mean "less is more"; have you SEEN the way I do my eyeliner?)
What kept you sane?
You guys (especiallypikasafire! My IRL friends (except Erin)! Bandboys and their ridiculousness.
Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
At this VERY moment....Chris Pine, Spencer Smith, Frank Iero and Mikey Way.
What political issue stirred you the most?
Universal Healthcare and same sex marriage.

Who DON'T I miss. I'm a fucking hermit (hermette?) lately.
Who was the best new person you met?
Bekah and Faith! Love those girls! I'd be hating every second of class if it wasn't for them.

Water under the bridge. It's whatever. It wasn't the best and it's not the worst so. Eh. I don't really care.
