That actually makes perfect sense! And you're right, I originally didn't intend to go beyond the very first part. I knew the ending was going to spark some "OMGSEQUEL" requests, but I didn't realize it would be so many. After I did Chris' though, I felt like Zach needed some vindication because he really came across as an ass and Chris' didn't give more than what Zach sad. Then this part fought me, and I was actually worried it was going to fail everyone. I had fun writing it, I think I just psyched myself out for a while because, like you said, it was a bit "for the readers."
Thank you! A lot! I'm kind of a Pine!girl myself so Zach tends to get the bad end of the deal a lot of the time when I write stuff. But rest assured! In my mind, Chris totally gets his spontaneity back once he and Zach sit down and seriously talk about it because Zach doesn't even like the change as much as the "old" Chris. xD
I'm SO glad you've liked it so much. Really. Like, I can't even tell you how much your comments make me smile and I'm pretty sure I managed to keep going largely due to them. I love everyone for taking the time to tell me what they think, but yours have definitely stuck in my mind as "if no one else is interested...at least ONE PERSON is."
