So I picked [livejournal.com profile] pikasafire at the airport then we drove to Pittsburgh...where we promptly got LOST and could SEE the hotel but had no idea how to get to it. But we finally made it! And it's WAY nicer than anything we need but whatever.

Then we went to some random place for dinner where I hardly ate anything from heat, not eating all day, or nerves (probably nerves). Then we headed over to line up for Meet and Greet and met people from the internets (as you do). They were wonderfully awesome.

Meet and Greet!
We sort of accidentally ended up at the front of the line. Zack came out and was awesome because he's Zack and that's what he does. We wandered upstairs, where he gave us the "don't be creepy" spiel. Then he brought the boys in. Ian and Dallon are signing now, too (which I KNEW but I was still unsure if it was a normal thing for them now). Some girl asked if Spencer was coming... We don't know what that was about but he was there.

Ian was first, I think I talked to him about his clothes, I don't know. He's cute like a puppy (maybe it's the hair). Spencer... OMG, Spencer. He is SO UNBELIEVABLY GORGEOUS in PERSON. His EYES. I said all of "hi, how are you, good, and thanks" to him. IT'S THE EYES. I WAS INCAPABLE OF ANYTHING ELSE! He is...I don't even have words for what he is. Then Dallon.... who is... amazingly attractive in person. Like, I can't even. And he's funny. I don't even know... Then BRENDON. Who is adorable and I don't know how it came about but I did mention hating PA and only coming here to see them. I DO NOT KNOW. I did not puke on Spencer or go on about why Mormons freak me out to Dallon and Brendon. So... success!

Brendon is such a dork. He and Dallon were singing the theme from Family Matters at the top of their lungs.

Foxy Shazam! WHY IS THERE NOT SLASH OF THIS BAND?! These guys are MOTHERFUCKING INSANE. They are so ACTIVE. They were ALL OVER THE STAGE. And I'm a little in love with the keyboardist because he was ON IT and SPINNING and JUMPING ON THE KEYS. And they have a trumpet. HOW COOL IS THAT?

They're hilarious though and their music has a fucking amazing beat to it. I think the lyrics might be sarcastic as hell but I couldn't really tell.

fun.
They were cute and bouncy and I like their songs. [livejournal.com profile] pikasafire says they're very ordinary and I can see that. But they're precious. I have no idea who the girl playing keys/guitar for them is... but I adore her. She's the most adorable fucking thing. Overall, they were pretty fun because their songs are catchy. I knew a couple, but even with the ones I didn't know, I was totally singing along by the end. Those boys know their hooks.

I liked that they had a light up sign of their name. That was neat. I'm not going to be cliche and say what they are... But you can probably guess. ;)

Panic!

The stage setting was really interesting. The back wall was covered in like... A rumpled up sheet so the lights against it did some really interesting things. They had random steampunky stuff all over the stage (roll with the theme, yo). It really was very cool looking.

So, the pit wasn't actually all that bad. About the second fun. went off stage, there was the giant PUSH forward. It was a little touch and go for a bit, but then it sort of leveled out. We still had some shoving or whatever, but it wasn't too bad (definitely not as intense as an MCR pit). I came out of it covered in someone else's hair (ew), I think my toe is screwed up, and I probably have some minor bruises. Whatever. TOTALLY WORTH IT!

So... Let's see. Some highlights (not in any particular order). They did "Let's Kill Tonight" and covered "Carry on My Wayward Son." Which were BOTH AMAZING. BRENDON AND SPENCER DRUMMED TOGETHER for "Kill". BRENDON WAS DRUMMING ON SPENCER'S KIT. THEY WERE PERFECT. LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE. OMGHOTTESTEVERIDON'TEVENKNOW

They had a little bit (that wasn't staged) between Brendon and Spencer about writing love notes. "Check yes or no."

Ian is just precious. Brendon ruffled his hair and he pretended to be asleep. He's the one that started the "Carless Whisper" instrumental cover. (We're pretty sure that was just so Brendon, Dallon, and Ian could show off their kick ass guitar skills)

Dallon kept putting the picks in his mouth and just basically looking like a sexy, sexy beast. I'm seriously a little bit in love with him now. He's SUCh AN ATTRACTIVE PERSON. And then the part where he was playing and licked the back of his guitar. Seriously. As [livejournal.com profile] pikasafire said "That man is sex on legs."

Spencer Smith likes Mexican food. And said the crowd was "sexy, wet, spicy tacos." I don't even know. When they came out for the encore, they played some old school Super Mario songs (because they are the most adorable dorks in existence!). During "Sins..." Brendon stuck his tongue in Dallon's ear. During "Lying" Brendon grabbed Dallon's crotch (it was probably his inner thigh, but it looked like his crotch from where I WAS STANDING). Brendon also went on his knees and licked Dallon's guitar during a Fever song... Probably "Lying."

THEY SOUNDED AMAZING. Brendon singing "Always" was so amazing that it was enough to almost make [livejournal.com profile] pikasafire cry. It was that gorgeous. Also, they did "C'mon" with fun. And his FACES. OMG. Straight up porn faces while he was playing the keyboard. It was also amazing.

I wish there was more SPENCER (but I always want more Spencer in everything). I know the drummers aren't normally that big of a deal and he probably CHOOSES to be up on a riser and only speak when he takes his picture of the day thing. But still. Spencer <3

OKAY. I think that's the highlights!

AND [livejournal.com profile] pikasafire admitted that Panic was more fun than MCR (mostly because the pit wasn't as viscous and she stayed in it but STILL!!!!!) lol

Annnd that's all. So, now to bed so i can drive a million hours to New York City tomorrow >.
