I'm familiar with the Twilight story (who isn't?) and I saw the movie, so I mercilessly mocked it in a story as well :-)
I'm actually a fan of some of the fanfiction that comes out of the Twilight world... but IMO its written about 120x better than anything Meyer wrote. Based on what I've read in fandom, I've become a fan of Jasper and Jacob, though I still firmly believe Bella embodies every trait of a Mary Sue possible, no matter how she's written.
