This really made me wish Chris's books were real. I can honestly see him doing something like this (and I do love it when writers don't make him a douche and show his intelligence). He can be adorkable, but I really don't see him as weak or stupid (not that you make him that way, I'm just commenting).
I LOVED the idea that he and Zach get off on discussing novels. The slow build-up is fun, and I know banter must be hard to write, but you do it so well.
