bootsonThere's a Bandom Voice Meme thing happening (which I'm still in the process of listening to). I have no willpower and also nothing to do with my time so. Yay voicepost!
So I've realized I talk really quickly and ramble about randomness and say "um" and "excited" a lot. I'm not very shocked by this... so okay! Questions:

Date: 2011-11-30 03:23 am (UTC)Oh man popslash made me write fic before i knew what that WAS. I'm sure it was all horrid. I can't read any of it now because I don't remember where I posted it...but I did a few exchanges AND saved it all on fucking FLOPPY DISKS. That is how long ago it was.
Oh god. YES. The Eric/Karl. I HAD FORGOTTEN ABOUT THAT. I kept forgetting who Karl was for some reason, though. It was ridiculous. But I read some SERIOUSLY SMOKING fic about them back then.
ooooh Our fandoms totally match up. How is it that we never ran across each other before? Well, maybe we did. I've gone through a few usernames since I used to forget mine and just make new ones at one point in the beginning (on fucking YAHOO GROUPS no less)
hahhah oh man I bet that's ADORABLE. When I'm in the pit I end up staring at speakers. I have no reason for this, but it's a thing.
YES. SPENCER IN THE KISSOGRAM OUTFIT. BRENDON WILL MAKE HIM RP THAT WHOLE SCENE. I don't actually have it written but I SO WILL if you sketch for me! IT also includes something along the lines of
Brendon: SPENCER BE AMY. I'm going to be 11.
Spencer: No. Why do I have to be Amy? Make Ian be Amy.
Brendon: Ian is mini-River. You're Amy.
Spencer: What about Dallon? Well, Dallon is more of a Rory. Why do I know this and why am I helping?
So they all dress up and go to a party or something and Breezy makes Dallon dress up because she thinks it's hillarious and totally lets Brendon dress her up like TARDIS.

Date: 2011-11-30 04:19 am (UTC)I used to save the LOTR fanfic I was reading on floppy disks! Because I didn't want to leave it on the computer, in case my dad found it, lol.
I was only really active in fandom from 2002-2004, and even then I lurked a lot, so maybe that's why? I also had a bunch of usernames, because I changed mine every two seconds back then, idek. But I was mostly on fanfic.net for HP and LOTR, and then livejournal for lotrips, after you didn't need an invite code for lj. Also, the last time I went searching my old usernames, I totally found rpf that was posted on a geocities page that I had completely forgotten about (fortunately the pages to my actual stories didn't get archived, lol). But yeahh. I didn't really write that much - if we ever did run across each other, it would probably be in HP, although everything I wrote was MWPP.
ahahah I hate the speakers, because I usually am standing right under them, and then the sound is too loud and weird. But lol. It's like, that's where the sound is coming from, so clearly the place to watch!
OMGGG NOW I WANT TO DRAW AAAAALLLL OF THEM! Except, um, I need pictures... for reference purposes... LOL BREEZY AS THE TARDIS. <3 Okay, I'm totally doing this as soon as I finish writing my nanowrimo! xDD

Date: 2011-12-02 05:11 am (UTC)That's why I used floppy disks! I didn't want my parents finding my boyband porn. I STILL remember the first kink fic I read (but not the very first fic I ever read). It was watersports (which doesn't really do anything for me) and Willa Ford/Nick Carter (which was never my pairing) but I had to save it because I didn't really understand kink yet (I was REALLY YOUNG) so I was super intrigued. And I would have LOST IT if my MOM found THAT. I mean, at least it was het but...it was porn. And watersports. I would have been traumatized.
That might be why. I was in Buffy around 2002 and HP around 2004. I totally had a MWPP phase! I wrote MWPP fanfic for a class asignment once when we read Wide Sargasso Sea which is, basicaly, a fanfic prequel to Jane Eyre. Out prof always gave us a "creative option" so I wrote a fic about Sirius. I got a 100 on it. :) and OH GOD. Geocities. KIT I'M SO GLAD THOSE THINGS NO LONGER EXIST. I soooo do not want to find the geocities things I had.
DRAW ALL OF THEM. I WILL FIND YOU REFERENCE PHOTOS! Give me a bit lolol DId you finish you nanowrimo? I didn't do it this year.

Date: 2011-12-05 07:46 am (UTC)Hee, writing fanfic for class is always awesome! The closest I've gotten was writing poetry addons to The Inferno and The Faerie Queen. Totally not as exciting.
BUT GEOCITIES!!! I'LL NEVER BE ABLE TO REVISIT THE WEBSITES OF MY PAST! Lol. With Geocities and GreatestJournal gone, that's like half of my teenage internet presence wiped out forever.
I did finish nanowrimo! Even though it was looking iffy at one point. I wrote like, 1/3 of it over Thanksgiving to get it done. xD
